Weight Management technique requires a series of step which include, patient encounter for taking his past information, regarding his lifestyle,work pattern, physical activity levels, family history, medical history, eating habit, daily schedules, exercise pattern etc.

Also hid BMI, waist to hip ratio,ideal body weight etc is taken and accordingly a well balanced diet is planned.
